Altibbi.com is based upon the Arabic Medical Dictionary authored by Dr. Abdel Aziz Allabadi and was launched in June 2008. It aims at providing health and medical knowledge in Arabic language. Helping the Arabic patient with the useful resources to maintain his/her and the family's health and arming him/her with the tools to better interact with the physician. At the same time it is a valuable resource for physicians trying to bridge the gap with their patients while access the largest Arabic medical library containing more than 60,000 medical terms, articles and pictures with a click.

more than 100,000 people visit Altibbi.com monthly, visiting more than 370,000 pages. There are already 6200 members of Altibbi.com since April 2009 divided almost evenly among patients, physicians and medical and life sciences students. 1300 questions have been received during July up from 10 questions only in March 2009. Altibbi.com team is working hard to continuously answer patients' concerns, add more information, and add more services to enhance the health knowledge in the Arab world.
