I am an experienced medical practitioner in both primary and emergency medicine. I am a Lebanese national who undertook my General Medical training in Cuba, later specialising in internal medicine and working in Zanzibar and Tanzania.

I have worked with the Palestinian Red Cross in Lebanon practicing primary and emergency medicine daily and now I work as a primary and emergency care physician in a remote oil production facility in Yemen.

Whilst working as Director of the Health Clinic in Brazzaville/ Congo

I developed enhanced administrative skills and proved to be an excellent communicator. I am computer literate and a linguist speaking and writing Arabic, English, Spanish, French.

I provided Medical support and advice to a large-scale production plant in a very remote area of Yemen. I established the clinic, set up administration procedures and provided both primary and emergency care on a 24-hour basis, proved ability to act independently

I have 4 years working at a remote site (Nexen Block 51) making independent medical decisions and managing emergency medical situations, managing the review of all patients attending for treatment, including the Military and a large contingency of Bedouins in the village of Atuf and then in the external clinic built in the gate of Block 51 facility camp for the locals and Militaries and at the same time attending the BAK _PF clinic for Nexen employees both nationals and expats.

In addition I have knowledge and experience in occupational health including illness and injury prevention, I provides medical welfare and emergency medical and trauma care to site personnel, diagnosis and managing routine medical problems and minor injuries , always reporting health and safety issues to HSE&SR Supervisor and manager and working in close liaison with them and maintaining necessary medical confidentiality at all times .

I Holds A Yemeni Driving license and drives the ambulance when it is necessary. I conducted medical and hygiene audits of the surrounding camps reporting back to the OIM. I organized first aid training and health awareness sessions for the crew, which was delivered on a regular basis.

Also I act at all times in a professional manner with respect to conduct appearance. I am able to recognize and manage medical, surgical and traumatic emergencies such as major injuries of head , face , chest, abdomen , pelvis , limbs , extremities and spine , blunt , penetrating , thermal , electrical and chemical injuries . Also cardiac and respiratory conditions, acute abdomen and psychiatric emergencies, and my skills include splinting, immobilization, medical management of multiple casualties. I have a competent knowledge and experience in health and hygiene practices and safety, in occupational health and hygiene and also in recognition , prevention and treatment of adverse reactions to climate , vegetation , insect and other vectors he do many PowerPoint presentation about different issues to the crew like heat stroke, fatigue , leishmaniasis , Malaria, dehydration, the importance of drinking water ,stretching and immobilization presentation , Bloodborne pathogens , Parasitism ,Dengue, First aid and CPR training to all ERT members and also to safety supervisors of all subcontractors of Nexen company and I am member of Emergency Response Team (ERT) in Block 51 in Nexen East al Hajr / Yemen .

I also plan a hygienic campaign to wash hands with posters , participate in the anti smoke campaign with anti smoke brochures in Block 51 I have a very good administrative abilities and computer literacy including excel, word, outlook and PowerPoint and he have a very good ability to work in a multicultural environment communicating. 1994 – 2005 Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Lebanon I provide both primary and emergency care for families attending for treatment and review.

I practices preventative medicine and teach my peers on the importance of health and hygiene. During the civil war I managed many trauma cases developing his skills in stabilization of both major and minor injuries. He has a broad understanding and medical experience of occupational health including illness and injury prevention, which is applied in daily practice. 1991 – 1994 Brazzaville, Congo I was the Chief of Medicine and Director at a health centre in Brazzaville, Congo.

I provided primary and emergency care and treated many multiple injuries during the civil war period having a good communication with all the people there specially that I speaks fluently the French language 1987 – 1991 Fajardo Hospital, Cuba I completed his studies in Internal Medicine achieving a Diploma of Specialist Medicine. 1986 – 1987 Dar es Salam, Tanzania Working as a General Practitioner with rural communities in a very remote environment treating varied cases from obstetrics to tropical diseases. I also have a good experience in the laboratory diagnosis of several tropical disease like malaria, Filariasis, and good communication with the people in Swahili language 1984 – 1986 Mnaze Moja Hospital, Tanzania Working as a General Practitioner providing medical services to the people of Zanzibar in the main hospital.

I treated both primary and emergency cases and also provided advice on preventative medicine. I was in charge of the infective hepatitis ward and chistosomiasis (Bilharzias) cases and the first known cases of Aids in Zanzibar 1978 – 1984 Havana University I achieved my Diploma of Doctor in Medicine following my studies at Havana University, which allowed me to practice as a General Practitioner in Cuba. 1977 – 1978 Spanish language and preparatory in Havana – Cuba. 1975 – 1977 I was a student of Physics at a Lebanese University until the course was terminated due to civil war. 1974- 1975 Bac II in Raml el Zarif High school Verdun –Beirut 1972-1974 1st year secondary and Bac I in Ashrafieh High school for Boys 1968-1972 elementary I,II,III,IV ( Privet ) UNRWA – Gaza school in Burj Hammoud 1964-1968 Beit Isaad al Toufoula In souk el Gharb 1962-1964 Beit Isaad al Toufoula In Hamra – Bless street , Beirut Feb. 2011
